Coronation Street was the most-watched soap on Friday evening (October 31), but Halloween led to lower ratings all round, overnight figures show.
Corrie pulled in 7.1m (36.7%) at 7.30pm on ITV and 155k (0.7%) on +1 as Rob did a runner from his wedding after learning that Carla had reported him to the police for killing Tina. 6.83m (32.0%) returned at 8.30pm and 241k (1.2%) on +1 as Carla's decision continued to have big repercussions for Rob's devastated fiancée Tracy.
Emmerdale attracted 5.78m (31.7%) at 7pm on ITV and 146k (0.7%) on +1 as April's behaviour on Halloween left Laurel concerned.
EastEnders entertained 5.68m (28.2%) at 8pm on BBC One as Nick and Dot came face-to-face and Abi was caught trying to scare Lauren. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 231k (1.6%) at 10.30pm.
Hollyoaks interested 729k (4.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as fears mounted over Carmel, while E4's first look topped the day's multichannel ratings with 681k (3.7%) at 7pm.
Neighbours appealed to 636k (9.4%) at 1.45pm and 675k (4.8%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Paige's problems continued.
Home and Away mustered 226k (3.2%) at 1.15pm and 476k (3.0%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look followed with 303k (1.8%) at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.2m (17.8%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
