EastEnders topped Thursday evening's soap ratings (September 11) as Phil Mitchell's big week continued, overnight figures show.
5.92m (31.7%) watched at 7.30pm on BBC One as Phil rejected Shirley and failed to confront Sharon over her attempt to con him. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 146k (8.0%) at the later time of 1.30am.
Emmerdale interested 5.4m (31.2%) at 7pm on ITV and 156k (0.8%) on +1 as Marlon and Laurel reached breaking point on their wedding day, while 5.32m (26.1%) returned at 8pm and 241k (1.1%) on +1 to see the ceremony go ahead after the couple resolved their differences.
Hollyoaks attracted 830k (5.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Esther opened the renamed coffee shop, while E4's first look followed with 719k (4.2%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours managed 584k (10.0%) at 1.45pm and 710k (5.8%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away appealed to 220k (3.6%) at 1.15pm, 458k (3.2%) at 6pm and 336k (2.1%) with 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors was seen by 1.08m (18.6%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
