Emmerdale attracted 5.02m (30.6%) at 7pm on ITV and 200k (1.1%) on +1 as Andy threatened to sue the Bartons over his accident.
Airing away from its usual broadcast day, Holby City managed 3.24m (17.2%) at 8pm on BBC One.
