Coronation Street topped Friday's ratings, attracting more than 7 million viewers for the 7.30pm showing.
The episode, which saw Rob rumble Tina and Peter's affair, was seen by an average audience of 7.24 million (37.5%).
The 8.30pm episode, which saw Carla overcome by extreme stomach pains, was seen by a slightly reduced audience of 6.72 million (31.1%).
ITV's evening kicked off with 5.81 million (32.6%) for the 7pm showing of Emmerdale, an episode which saw Chas pay Charity a visit.
Over on Channel 4, Hollyoaks played to 830k (5%) at 6.30pm, while E4's first look attracted 731k (4.1%) at 7pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.34 million (20.4%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
Also at 1.45pm, Channel 5's first showing of Neighbours entertained 590k (8.9%), while the 5.30pm viewing was seen by 695k (5.2%).
