Coronation Street was Friday evening's top-rated soap (February 7) with Steve and Michelle's relationship troubles, overnight figures show.
7.75m (35.8%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 133k (0.6%) on +1 as Steve confessed to feeling jealous of Lloyd and Andrea's romance. 7.49m (32.4%) returned at 8.30pm and 163k (0.7%) on +1 as Michelle reacted badly to Steve's honesty.
EastEnders attracted 6.68m (30.2%) at 8pm on BBC One as Kat was shocked to catch a brief glimpse of Stacey while travelling on a bus. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 479k (3.1%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale appealed to 6.21m (30.0%) at 7pm on ITV and 127k (0.6%) on +1 as James made Moira uncomfortable by revealing that he still has feelings for her.
Hollyoaks interested 860k (4.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as the pressure on Cindy began to take its toll, while E4's first look topped the multichannel ratings with 695k (3.4%) at 7pm and 118k (0.5%) on +1.
On Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 569k (8.4%) at 1.45pm and 681k (4.0%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away grabbed 272k (3.7%) at 1.15pm, 554k (2.9%) at 6pm and 450k (2.2%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors continued with 1.45m (21.6%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
