Emmerdale is beaten by EastEnders on Wednesday night

EastEnders topped the soap ratings on Thursday evening for BBC One, according to overnight data.

David's life-changing offer from Nikki attracted 7.64 million (34.9%) at 7.30pm. BBC Three's repeat brought in 394,000 (2.6%) at 10.30pm.

ITV's Emmerdale brought in 7.15m (33.8%) at 7pm as Leyla confronted Priya over her eating problem. At 8pm, 6.32m (27.8%) tuned in (140k/0.6% on +1) as Priya ordered Leyla to keep quiet.

On Channel 4, Hollyoaks appealed to 1.22m (6.0%) at 6.30pm as there was fire drama for Jason and Holly. E4's first-look gathered 761k (3.6%) at 7pm (133k/0.6%).

Channel 5's Home and Away interested 225k (2.9%) at 1.15pm and 652k (3.5%) at 6pm. 5*'s first-look brought in 395k (1.9%) at 6.30pm. Neighbours was seen by 611k (8.1%) at 1.45pm and 847k (5.2%) at 5.30pm.

Earlier on BBC One, Doctors attracted 1.75m (23.5%) at 1.15pm.
