Coronation Street was Friday evening's top-rated soap (December 20) as Kylie's downward spiral continued, overnight figures show.
7.79m (36.6%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 295k (1.4%) on +1 as Kylie ruined Max's nativity by turning up drunk.
Emmerdale interested 6.31m (30.6%) at 7pm on ITV as Declan's worrying behaviour continued, adding 167k (0.8%) on +1.
EastEnders was dented by ITV's Text Santa, bringing in 5.96m (27.4%) at 8pm on BBC One as Janine told David the truth about Michael's murder. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 381k (2.3%) at 10.30pm.
Hollyoaks had 1.09m (5.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as a fight between Ste and John Paul led to a surprise kiss, while E4's first look followed with 608k (3.0%) at 7pm.
Elsewhere, the final Neighbours episode of the year entertained 368k (5.4%) at 12.55pm and 819k (5.1%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Kate and Kyle's secret was finally exposed.
