EastEnders' audience boost continued with the latest episode

EastEnders continued to be boosted by the aftermath of Michael Moon's murder on Tuesday evening (November 5), overnight figures show.

The Walford soap brought in 7.39m (34.2%) at 7.30pm on BBC One, rising 280k week-on-week despite airing against the Real Sociedad vs Manchester United game on ITV.

BBC Three's repeat screening of the episode - which saw Janine try to fool Alice over the cause of Michael's demise - secured 525k (3.7%) at 10.30pm.

Emmerdale appealed to 7.07m (34.6%) at 7pm on ITV and 158k (0.7%) on +1 as Rachel finally told Sam the truth about Archie's paternity.

Holby City attracted 4.64m (20.5%) at 8pm on BBC One as Malick's old mentor turned up at the hospital as a patient.

Hollyoaks interested 890k (4.5%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Martha shared her suspicions about Will with Dodger and Dennis, while a dramatic E4 first look screening followed with 692k (3.4%) at 7pm and 239k (1.1%) on +1.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 705k (10.1%) at 1.45pm and 925k (5.6%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 271k (3.8%) at 1.15pm, 733k (4.0%) at 6pm and 495k (2.5%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.6m (23.0%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
