EastEnders pulls ahead of Emmerdale for a second night

EastEnders was Tuesday evening's (August 13) top-rated soap as Lauren's struggles continued, overnight figures show.

The latest visit to Walford pulled in 6.41m (33.5%) at 7.30pm on BBC One with Whitney's confession to Lauren, which tempted the teen to start drinking again. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 389k (2.7%) at 10.30pm.

Emmerdale entertained 6.2m (33.9%) at 7pm on ITV as Katie confided in Chas about the body on the festival site, adding 208k (1.1%) on +1.

Holby City interested 4.75m (23.4%) at 8pm on BBC One as Mo was forced to face the consequences of her actions.

Hollyoaks managed 826k (4.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Sienna's antics continued, while E4's first look had 473k (2.6%) at 7pm and 155k (0.8%) on +1.

On Channel 5, Holly's bratty behaviour in Neighbours amused 517k (7.3%) at 1.45pm and 966k (7.1%) at 5.30pm, while the latest classic airing of Home and Away on 5* appealed to 141k (0.8%) at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, Doctors was seen by 1.26m (17.8%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
