EastEnders topped the soap ratings on Friday evening (June 28) with Tanya Cross's emotional exit episode, overnight figures show.
The Walford drama pulled in 7.18m (34.2%) at 8pm on BBC One as Tanya left the Square with Lauren and Oscar. BBC Three's repeat screening also performed well with 590k (3.7%) at 10.30pm.
Coronation Street's first outing of the evening, which aired against Andy Murray's latest Wimbledon match, appealed to 6.72m (31.6%) at 7.30pm on ITV and 158k (0.7%) on +1 as the aftermath of Tina's baby decision continued to play out. 7.07m (32.8%) watched at 8.30pm and 213k (1.0%) on +1 as Roy's café mystery was resolved.
Emmerdale, which was also up against the Murray game, interested 5.59m (28.3%) at 7pm on ITV and 210k (1.0%) on +1 as Debbie hit the bottle.
Hollyoaks managed 668k (3.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Sinead met up with sleazy Frank, while E4's first look secured 404k (2.0%) at 7pm.
On Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 624k (7.6%) at 1.45pm and 830k (5.7%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 218k (2.7%) at 1.15pm, 552k (3.2%) at 6pm and 326k (1.8%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
