EastEnders was Thursday's most-watched soap

EastEnders was ahead in Thursday night's (June 27) soap ratings as the build-up to Tanya's exit continued, overnight figures show.

6.55m (32.0%) tuned in to BBC One at the slightly earlier time of 7.25pm to see Tanya start packing her bags to leave Walford. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 452k (2.7%) at 10.30pm.

Emmerdale appealed to 6.17m (31.5%) at 7pm on ITV and 124k (0.6%) on +1 as everyone turned against Debbie, while 6.14m (28.8%) returned at 8pm and 228k (1.1%) on +1 to see Debbie lash out at Robbie.

Hollyoaks interested 816k (4.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with the latest Savage family dramas, while E4's first look had 548k (2.8%) at 7pm.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 678k (9.7%) at 1.45pm and 891k (6.1%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 297k (4.1%) at 1.15pm, 653k (3.9%) at 6pm and 426k (2.4%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
