Coronation Street slipped below the 6 million mark outside of its usual timeslot on Wednesday evening (February 6), overnight figures show.
The Weatherfield soap pulled in 5.81m (23.9%) at 9.40pm on ITV as Tyrone and Fiz kidnapped baby Ruby, adding 439k (3.2%) on +1.
Hollyoaks attracted 1.02m (5.0%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Ruby was knocked over by Jack's car, while E4's first look had 825k (4.1%) at 7pm and 149k (0.6%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours secured 802k (10.5%) at 1.45pm and 980k (5.9%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away appealed to 699k (3.7%) at 6pm and 455k (2.2%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors brought 1.51m (20.0%) to BBC One at 1.45pm.
