EastEnders was Tuesday evening's (November 20) most-watched soap as Tanya met her long-lost sister Ava for the first time, overnight figures show.
The Walford drama pulled in 7.71 million (33.5%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Tanya came face-to-face with Ava at the school where she works. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 544,000 (3.6%) at 10.30pm.
Also on BBC One, Holby City entertained 4.91m (20.0%) at 8pm with the arrival of new CEO Imelda Cousins.
Emmerdale attracted 7.35m (33.7%) at 7pm on ITV1 with Bernice's return episode, adding 157k (0.6%) on +1.
Hollyoaks grabbed 1.16m (5.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Myra and Phoebe struggled to comfort a grieving Jacqui, while E4's first look had 754k (3.5%) at 7pm and 120k (0.5%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours interested 672k (8.8%) at 1.45pm and 974k (5.7%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 790k (4.0%) at 6pm and 496k (2.4%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.45m (18.9%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
