EastEnders was Tuesday evening's (October 9) most-watched soap with the latest developments in Lola's storyline, overnight figures show.
The Walford drama pulled in 7.83m (35.9%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Billy tried to step up to the mark by helping Lola in the battle to win Lexi back. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 543k (3.8%) at 10.30pm.
Also on BBC One, Holby City entertained 5.07m (21.4%) at 8pm with a big episode for Sacha and Chrissie.
Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 6.75m (33.1%) at 7pm on ITV1 and 182k (0.8%) on +1 as Chas remained entangled in a web of lies.
Hollyoaks appealed to 941k (4.8%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with a close call for love cheats Cindy and Rhys, while E4's first look had 546k (2.7%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 689k (10.3%) at 1.45pm and 980k (6.6%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 748k (4.2%) at 6pm and 512k (2.6%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.28m (19.3%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
