EastEnders was the most-watched soap on Tuesday evening (June 26) as Janine and Michael's storyline continued, overnight figures show.
The Albert Square drama pulled in 7.52m (35.5%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Michael considered fleeing Walford. BBC Three's repeat screening later put in another strong performance, with 848k (4.3%) watching at 10pm.
Also on BBC One, Holby City entertained 4.77m (22.1%) at 8pm with an episode titled 'Long Way Down'.
Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 5.99m (30.1%) at 7pm on ITV1 and 194k (0.9%) on +1 as Nikhil proposed to Gennie.
Hollyoaks interested 862k (4.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with its dramatic stabbing episode, while E4's first look screening gripped 569k (2.8%) at 7pm and 162k (0.8%) on timeshift.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours appealed to 592k (8.9%) at 1.45pm and 781k (5.4%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 548k (3.2%) at 6pm and 407k (2.2%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
