Coronation Street was the most-watched soap on Wednesday evening (June 13) as Peter Barlow made a heartbreaking decision, overnight figures show.
Coronation Street pulled in 6.91m (31.6%) at 7.30pm on ITV1 and 261k (1.1%) on +1 as a distraught Peter agreed to let Simon live with Leanne. The episode clashed with high-rating Euro 2012 coverage over on BBC One.
Hollyoaks, meanwhile, attracted 723k (3.8%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Joel tried to find out more about Walker. Later, E4's first look interested 469k (2.5%) at 7pm and 115k (0.5%) on timeshift.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours appealed to 617k (9.6%) at 1.45pm and 883k (6.0%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away had 650k (3.8%) at 6pm and 439k (2.3%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'Life's Too Short' - was seen by 1.24m (19.5%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
