Coronation Street remained well above the 7m mark on Thursday evening (June 7) as Dev and Sunita hit the rocks, overnight figures show.
Coronation Street pulled in 7.69m (32.9%) at 8.30pm on ITV1 as Dev accused Sunita of having an affair, adding a sizeable 316k (1.4%) on +1.
EastEnders, meanwhile, entertained 7.14m (33.1%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Kat returned to Albert Square. BBC Three's repeat screening had a strong 842k (4.2%) at 10pm.
Emmerdale interested 6.27m (30.7%) at 7pm as Zak took a sad turn for the worse, while 6.83m (30.2%) watched at 8pm and 196k (0.9%) on timeshift as the troubled Dingle patriarch returned to hospital.
Hollyoaks grabbed 900k (4.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Ste faced his tough decision between Brendan and Doug. Over on E4, the usual first look screening was absent for one night only, but special episode 'Chasing Rainbows' - centring around Dennis Savage's attempts to track down Maverick Sabre - delivered an impressive 554k (2.7%) at 7pm and 104k (0.5%) on +1.
Elsewhere, Neighbours appealed to 589k (7.1%) at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 827k (5.3%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 655k (3.6%) at 6pm and 429k (2.2%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Finally, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'Never Found' - was seen by 1.5m (18.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
