EastEnders topped the soap ratings on Thursday evening as Masood finally discovered Yusef's abuse of Zainab, overnight figures show.
EastEnders attracted 8.39m (35.2%) at 7.30pm as Masood tried to think of a way to rescue both Zainab and Kamil. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 825k (3.7%) at 10pm.
Coronation Street, meanwhile, pulled in 7.79m (31.6%) at 8.30pm and 197k (0.8%) on timeshift as Steve fell for Tracy's lies and branded Becky a murderer.
Emmerdale's first outing of the evening entertained 7.03m (32.2%) at 7pm and 152k (0.6%) on +1 as Laurel and Ashley's big day arrived. The second episode of the double bill interested 7.43m (31.1%) at 8pm and 150k (0.6%) on timeshift as the wedding drama came to a head.
Hollyoaks mustered 967k (4.9%) on Channel 4 at 6.30pm as Mercedes tried to win back Riley, while the finale of the Warren, Brendan and Mitzeee storyline then brought 665k (3.0%) to E4's first look at 7pm and 122k (0.5%) to E4+1.
Over on Channel 5, the fourth edition of
Top 20 Soap Moments managed 379k (2.3%) at 5.30pm.
