Monday ratings: 'Coronation Street' Tracy lie seen by 9m

Coronation Street topped the 9m mark on Monday evening as Tracy Barlow returned to her wicked ways, overnight figures show.



Coronation Street pulled in 9.01m (37.4%) at 7.30pm as Tracy falsely accused Becky of causing her miscarriage. ITV1+1's screening added 324k (1.3%) an hour later.

EastEnders, meanwhile, attracted 8.77m (34.9%) at 8pm as Ian and Mandy's wedding day arrived. BBC Three's repeat screening was watched by 953k (4.5%) at 10pm.

Emmerdale entertained 7.52m (33.3%) at 7pm as Amy paid a visit to Cain in hospital, with a further 160k (0.6%) watching on timeshift.

Elsewhere, Hollyoaks appealed to 1.18m (5.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4, while E4's first look secured 419k (1.9%) at 7pm.

Over on Channel 5, the first edition of Top 20 Soap Moments - looking back at the past year in Neighbours and Home and Away - interested 498k (2.9%) at 5.30pm.
