EastEnders topped the 9m mark on Tuesday evening as Phil Mitchell's stalker dramas continued, overnight figures show.
EastEnders pulled in 9.06m (39.6%) at 7.30pm as Phil and Shirley realised that Heather had been framed by the mystery tormentor. BBC Three's 10pm repeat screening took 872k (4.3%).
Also on BBC One,
Holby City entertained 5.46m (23.0%) at 8pm as a face from Malick's past arrived at the hospital.
Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 7.58m (34.0%) at 7pm and 252k (1.1%) on +1 as John was released on bail.
Elsewhere,
Hollyoaks interested 1.1m (5.2%) at 6.30pm and 116k (0.5%) on timeshift as Darren and Tony's business war rumbled on, while E4's first look secured 583k (2.6%) at 7pm and 144k (0.6%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5,
Neighbours appealed to 709k (9.3%) at 1.45pm and 1.4m (8.3%) at 5.30pm, while
Home and Away mustered 954k (4.9%) at 6pm and 527k (2.5%) for 5*'s first look.
Doctors' latest episode - titled 'No Secret So Close' - was watched by 1.63m (21.6%) at lunchtime.
