'Bill' star father of Hannah Waterman's baby?

Former star of The Bill Huw Higginson has reportedly been revealed as the mystery father of Hannah Waterman's unborn baby.



The 35-year-old actress, who is said to be six months pregnant, is "blissfully happy" with long-term friend and former Eastenders co-star Higginson according to the Sunday Mirror.

Higginson, who played PC George Garfield in The Bill and briefly appeared alongside Waterman in the BBC soap in 2001, has allegedly left his wife and two children ahead of the birth.

The couple apparently grew closer after being cast opposite each other in plays Rattle of a Simple Man and Killing Time in 2009. They embarked upon a national tour together just after Waterman's well-publicised two-and-a-half stone weight loss.

Representatives for Waterman and Garfield have yet to comment on the reports.
