Coronation Street topped the ratings on Friday (October 30) despite its early start in the schedules, overnight figures show.
6.19m (33.8%) tuned in at 7pm on ITV and 213k (1.1%) on +1 as Jason was forced to come clean with Gary by revealing that he was the mystery man who slept with Alya.
EastEnders, which was also out of slot, attracted 5.87m (30.2%) at 7.30pm on BBC One with the show's hour-long Halloween special. The episode included the big revelation that Gavin is Sharon's biological father. BBC Three's repeat secured 283k (1.9%) at 10pm.
Doctors continued with 1.46m (19.5%) at 1.45pm on BBC One as Ayesha and Sid's Halloween night out failed to go to plan.
Neighbours grabbed 691k (9.1%) at 1.45pm and 669k (4.4%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Josh and Nate uncovered damning evidence of Paul's wrongdoing.
Hollyoaks aired to 650k (3.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Maxine came out fighting for Patrick (+1: 47k / 0.2%), while E4's first look had 522k (2.9%) at 7pm (+1: 71k / 0.4%).
Home and Away managed 194k (2.6%) at 1.15pm and 461k (2.7%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look claimed 339k (1.9%) at 6.30pm.
