EastEnders was Tuesday's most-watched programme (April 7) as Stan Carter's exit week continued, overnight figures show.
6.45m (34.1%) tuned in at 7.30pm on BBC One as Stan tried to mend his family's rift and made plans to marry Cora. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 312k (2.3%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale attracted 5.55m (32.1%) at 7pm on ITV and 227k (1.2%) on +1 as Aaron suffered a terrible accident while out running.
Holby City entertained 4.48m (22.1%) at 8pm on BBC One with Jac and Jonny's exits.
Neighbours bounced back well from Easter Monday's audience dip, bringing in 648k (11.3%) at 1.45pm and 814k (6.8%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Matt was run over after saving Brad in a road accident.
Hollyoaks managed 728k (4.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 103k (0.5%) on +1 as Patrick confided in Theresa, while E4's first look followed with 445k (2.6%) at 7pm and 185k (0.9%) on +1.
Brax's trial drama in Home and Away continued with 189k (3.0%) at 1.15pm and 648k (4.6%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look followed with 374k (2.3%) at 6.30pm.
