EastEnders topped the soap ratings on Tuesday evening (February 24) with the exits of Peter and Lauren, overnight figures show.
The Walford drama was the most-watched programme of the day, bringing in 7.83m (35.6%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Peter and Lauren left Walford for a fresh start in New Zealand. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 423k (3.0%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale entertained 6.58m (33.0%) at 7pm on ITV and 206k (0.9%) on +1 as Nicola was accused of kidnapping baby Amba after getting trapped in a barn with her.
Holby City claimed 4.63m (20.5%) at 8pm on BBC One as Elliot faced a difficult choice.
Hollyoaks attracted 1m (5.4%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Lindsey chose Freddie over her own son, while E4's first look followed with 651k (3.3%) at 7pm and 159k (0.7%) on +1.
Neighbours grabbed 590k (8.7%) at 1.45pm and 836k (5.5%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Naomi's pursuit of Brennan continued.
Home and Away managed 211k (3.0%) at 1.15pm and 631k (3.6%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 450k (2.4%) at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors was seen by 1.58m (23.2%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
