Coronation Street topped the soap ratings on Monday evening (February 2) with the latest trouble involving bad boy Callum, overnight figures show.
Corrie's 7.30pm episode was the most-watched programme of the day, bringing in 7.98m (36.3%) on ITV and 129k (0.6%) on +1 as David was furious to find Callum spending time with Max again. 7.36m (31.4%) returned at 8.30pm and 154k (0.6%) on +1 as David's worry increased due to Callum threatening him.
EastEnders attracted 7.5m (32.2%) at 8pm on BBC One as Dean's arrest for rape began to have an adverse effect on his business. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 268k (1.9%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale interested 6.77m (32.5%) at 7pm on ITV as Robert vengefully set fire to Katie and Andy's caravan, causing a huge explosion.
Hollyoaks appealed to 944k (4.8%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with Nancy's ongoing addiction problems, while E4's first look topped the day's multichannel ratings with 668k (3.2%) at 7pm and 148k (0.6%) on +1.
Waterloo Road entertained 532k (2.2%) at 8.30pm on BBC Three with a difficult inspection day for the school, but BBC One's repeat screening dipped to 390k (6.6%) after being moved to the later time of 11.30pm.
Neighbours grabbed 697k (9.3%) at 1.45pm and 825k (5.1%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Sonya faced yet more problems with Erin.
Home and Away managed 205k (2.7%) at 1.15pm and 663k (3.6%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 390k (2.0%) at 6.30pm.
