EastEnders was the most-watched soap on Christmas Day, overnight figures show.
7.55m (30.2%) tuned in at 9pm on BBC One as the Carter family's secrets were finally revealed and the Beales received a nasty surprise under the Christmas tree.
EastEnders was also the second most popular programme of the evening, charting just behind Mrs Brown's Boys which had 7.61m (32.2%).
BBC Three's repeat screening of EastEnders also performed well with 522k (3.6%) at 11pm.
Coronation Street attracted 6.41m (26.1%) at 8pm on ITV and 207k (0.8%) on +1 as David and Kylie's marriage hit the rocks after Callum gatecrashed the Platt family's Christmas Day.
Emmerdale brought in 5.53m (23.0%) at 7pm on ITV and 176k (0.7%) on +1 as Katie and Andy tied the knot despite dramas with Bernice and Robert on their big day.
