EastEnders remained steady in the soap ratings on Tuesday evening (December 16) with the latest twists in the Lucy Beale investigation, overnight figures show.
6.94m (33.6%) watched at 7.30pm on BBC One as Emma Summerhayes betrayed the Branning family by handing Lauren's laptop over to the police. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 293k (2.1%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale attracted 6.32m (32.5%) at 7pm on ITV and 141k (0.7%) on +1 as Chrissie realised that Ross was responsible for the Home Farm raid.
Holby City interested 4.28m (19.8%) at 8pm on BBC One as Zosia's worrying behaviour came to a head.
Hollyoaks claimed 1.15m (6.0%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Diane took her revenge by leaving the village with Anthony and Dee Dee, while E4's first look topped the day's multichannel ratings with 781k (4.0%) at 7pm and 142k (0.7%) on +1.
Home and Away appealed to 254k (3.9%) at 1.30pm and 687k (3.8%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look followed with 452k (2.4%) at 6.30pm.
