EastEnders was Thursday's most-watched soap (May 22) as another big Carter family secret was revealed, overnight figures show.
6.76m (34.5%) tuned in at 7.30pm on BBC One as Phil realised that Mick is Shirley's son. BBC Three's repeat screening continued to perform well with 523k (3.6%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale attracted 5.83m (31.7%) at 7pm on ITV and 229k (1.1%) on +1 as Charity's scheming continued.
Holby City's rescheduled episode interested 4.18m (20.3%) at 8pm on BBC One, the show's lowest audience of the year so far.
Hollyoaks interested 895k (5.4%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Sinead exposed Freddie and Lindsey's secret, while E4's first look also had 895k (4.9%) with the aftermath at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Josh's collapse in Neighbours was seen by 651k (10.1%) at 1.45pm and 803k (6.2%) at 5.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors continued with 1.33m (20.9%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
