Coronation Street came out on top in the soap ratings on Wednesday, according to overnight data.
An average audience of 7.4 million (37.2%) watched the ITV soap at 7.30pm as Kal fought for Leanne, with an added 198,000 (0.9%) on +1.
Emmerdale continued with 6.0m (33.1%) at 7pm (192k/0.9% on +1), as Donna told the truth about her illness.
On Channel 4, Hollyoaks appealed to 983k (5.7%) at 6.30pm, as Finn's actions had more consequences. E4's first-look gathered 811k (4.4%) at 7pm (148k/0.7%).
Channel 5's Neighbours brought in 696k (11.6%) at 1.45pm and 788k (6.0%) at 5.30pm.
Home and Away was seen by 238k (3.9%) at 1.15pm and 598k (3.8%) at 6pm.
Earlier on BBC One, Doctors attracted 696k (11.6%) at 1.45pm.
