EastEnders topped Tuesday's soap ratings (April 29) with Denise's big decision, overnight figures show.
The Walford drama attracted 7.36m (37.2%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Denise chose not to go through with her plan to walk out on Ian following Lucy's death. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 390k (2.7%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale pulled in 5.83m (32.8%) at 7pm on ITV and 170k (0.8%) on +1 as Charity's wedding plans suffered a setback.
Holby City grabbed 4.69m (22.0%) at 8pm on BBC One as Raf and Amy's storyline continued.
Hollyoaks appealed to 1.03m (6.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Finn's latest malicious act had unexpected results, while E4's first look remained at the top of the multichannel ratings with 844k (4.7%) at 7pm and 131k (0.6%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours interested 606k (10.0%) at 1.45pm and 766k (6.2%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 230k (3.7%) at 1.15pm, 541k (3.6%) at 6pm and 348k (2.1%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.27m (21.3%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
