EastEnders topped Thursday's soap ratings...

EastEnders was Thursday evening's (April 3) top-rated soap as Max and Lucy's secret relationship was revealed, overnight figures show.

The Walford drama brought in 6.82m (33.4%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Lucy was seen heading off to meet Max in a hotel room. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 382k (2.7%) at 10.30pm.

Emmerdale attracted 6.15m (32.0%) at 7pm on ITV and 106k (0.5%) on +1 as Debbie was arrested for assaulting a client. 5.74m (26.1%) returned at 8pm and 200k (1.0%) on +1 as Pete took drastic action to get Debbie out of trouble.

Hollyoaks interested 945k (5.4%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Ste found evidence which backed up Sinead's story, while E4's first look followed with 832k (4.3%) at 7pm and 182k (0.8%) on +1.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours mustered 586k (8.9%) at 1.45pm and 770k (5.5%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away entertained 197k (2.9%) at 1.15pm, 557k (3.4%) at 6pm and 455k (2.6%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.46m (22.2%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
