EastEnders was Thursday's top-rated soap...

EastEnders topped Thursday evening's soap ratings (March 27) with a Dot-centric double bill, overnight figures show.

The Walford drama pulled in 6.74m (33.4%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Dot became upset with her friends on the day of Nick's funeral. 6.29m (28.5%) returned at 8.30pm as the suspicious behaviour from Dot's grandson Charlie continued.

Later, the episodes were seen by 233k (7.1%) and 152k (6.8%) on BBC Three at 12.30am and 1am respectively.

Elsewhere, Emmerdale attracted 5.88m (30.4%) at 7pm on ITV and 106k (0.5%) on +1 as Belle told Zak the truth about Gemma's death. Belle's decision to confess to the police interested 5.76m (27.3%) at 8pm and 200k (0.9%) on +1.

Hollyoaks mustered 1.04m (5.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Diane was arrested on her wedding day, while E4's first look followed with 763k (3.9%) at 7pm and 152k (0.7%) on +1.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 544k (8.1%) at 1.45pm and 762k (5.3%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away appealed to 203k (2.9%) at 1.15pm, 604k (3.6%) at 6pm and 339k (1.9%) with 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors claimed 1.5m (22.5%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
