Coronation Street topped the midweek soap ratings (Wednesday, February 26) with Gary and Phelan's violent showdown, overnight figures show.
7.62m (35.9%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 301k (1.4%) on +1 as Gary lashed out at Phelan after learning of his inappropriate advances towards Anna.
Emmerdale pulled in 6.51m (32.7%) at 7pm and 178k (0.9%) on +1 as Declan and Charity tried to track Rachel down.
Waterloo Road attracted 3.23m (15.1%) at 8pm on BBC One as bad boy Barry Barry was arrested in his final episode on the show.
Hollyoaks interested 988k (5.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as a guilty Robbie apologised to John Paul, while E4's first look followed with 811k (4.1%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 687k (10.2%) at 1.45pm and 787k (5.2%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away claimed 228k (3.5%) at 1.15pm, 565k (3.2%) at 6pm and 510k (2.7%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.44m (21.5%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
