Coronation Street was above the 8 million mark on Wednesday evening (November 27) as Tina and Peter's behaviour began to arouse suspicion, overnight figures show.
The midweek visit to Weatherfield pulled in 8.44m (38.0%) at 7.30pm on ITV and 392k (1.7%) on +1 as Liz warned Tina that she was playing with fire by flirting with Peter.
Emmerdale attracted 7.03m (34.3%) at 7pm on ITV as Charity's fury continued, adding 188k (0.9%) on +1.
Hollyoaks managed 1.03m (5.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Sienna found a way to clear Jack's name, while E4's first look had 670k (3.2%) at 7pm and 197k (0.9%) on +1.
On Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 640k (9.4%) at 1.45pm and 890k (5.6%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away appealed to 246k (3.6%) at 1.15pm, 733k (4.0%) at 6pm and 419k (2.1%) with 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors mustered 1.27m (18.7%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
