Coronation Street and EastEnders both enjoyed a strong evening in the soap ratings on Monday (November 25), overnight figures show.
The night's first visit to Weatherfield brought in 9.11m (39.6%) at 7.30pm on ITV and 130k (0.5%) on +1 as Anna was confronted with video evidence of Faye's bullying. The audience increased to 9.49m (36.7%) at 8.30pm and 217k (0.9%) on +1 as Faye and the Windasses were forced to face the consequences of her behaviour.
The bullying storyline appeared to have boosted the ITV show as Corrie was up 460k week-on-week.
EastEnders also continued to rise in the ratings as Alfie and Roxy's wedding entertained 8.41m (34.3%) at 8pm on BBC One, an increase of 380k from last Monday's episode. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 408k (2.7%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale attracted 7.38m (34.1%) at 7pm on ITV and 105k (0.4%) on +1 as Declan's fury turned physical.
Hollyoaks appealed to 1.25m (6.1%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Darren proposed to scheming Sienna, while E4's first look had 693k (3.2%) at 7pm and 138k (0.6%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours interested 548k (8.1%) at 1.45pm and 962k (5.7%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 204k (3.0%) at 1.15pm, 813k (4.2%) at 6pm and 501k (2.4%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.53m (22.7%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
