Coronation Street remained above the 8 million mark on Wednesday (October 30) as Leanne returned to Weatherfield, overnight figures show.
8.12m (36.6%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 375k (1.7%) on +1 as Leanne was faced with the tough choice of whether to forgive Nick's betrayal.
Emmerdale attracted 6.77m (32.5%) at 7pm on ITV as Alan Turner's funeral took place in the village, adding 294k (1.4%) on +1.
Hollyoaks managed 957k (4.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with the continuing cover-up of Doctor Browning's murder, while E4's first look had 550k (2.6%) at 7pm and 121k (0.6%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 616k (8.5%) at 1.45pm and 912k (5.7%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away appealed to 243k (3.3%) at 1.15pm, 627k (3.5%) at 6pm and 485k (2.5%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.31m (18.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
