6.56m (33.4%) watched at 7.30pm on BBC One as Dexter vowed to donate a kidney to his father Sam. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 657k (4.7%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale interested 6.51m (35.1%) at 7pm and 259k (1.2%) on +1 as Amy's deception continued.
Holby City attracted 4.57m (20.8%) at 8pm on BBC One as Malick faced further career troubles.
Hollyoaks brought in 730k (4.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with the emotional aftermath of Sandy's bombshell, while E4's first look had 647k (3.5%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 676k (11.0%) at 1.45pm and 888k (6.8%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 271k (4.3%) at 1.15pm, 585k (3.8%) at 6pm and 401k (2.4%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.45m (23.9%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
