Emmerdale was Tuesday evening's most-watched soap (September 17) as the ongoing Cameron storyline continued to boost the show's ratings, overnight figures show.
7.45m (37.8%) watched at 7pm on ITV and 161k (0.7%) on +1 as Debbie was pushed to breaking point while trying to get a confession out of Cameron.
EastEnders attracted 7.06m (32.6%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Jean said an emotional farewell to Albert Square. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 530k (3.8%) at 10.30pm.
Holby City appealed to 4.58m (19.0%) at 8pm on BBC One as Jac and Jonny faced tough decisions.
Hollyoaks interested 856k (4.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Patrick was accused of murdering Anna, while E4's first look had 583k (3.0%) at 7pm and 148k (0.6%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 695k (9.6%) at 1.45pm and 823k (5.6%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 320k (4.2%) at 1.15pm, 597k (3.5%) at 6pm and 354k (2.0%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.52m (21.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
