Coronation Street was the most-watched soap on Bank Holiday Monday (August 26), overnight figures show.
7.7m (36.1%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 200k (0.9%) on +1 as Kylie went into labour, while the audience increased to 8.01m (34.9%) at 8.30pm and 311k (1.5%) on +1 as Gail delivered Kylie's baby girl.
Emmerdale attracted 5.99m (31.8%) at 7pm on ITV as the pressure on killer Cameron increased, adding 303k (1.3%) on +1.
EastEnders appealed to 5.91m (26.2%) at 8pm on BBC One as Abi realised she might be pregnant. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 560k (3.8%) at 10.30pm.
Hollyoaks entertained 718k (4.4%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Sienna was humiliated at the pub, while E4's first look had 430k (2.3%) at 7pm and 163k (0.7%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Paul's scheming in Neighbours interested 401k (5.3%) at the earlier time of 1.10pm and 666k (5.5%) at 5.30pm, while the latest 'Summer Bay's Sexiest' airing of Home and Away had 57k (0.4%) at 6.30pm on 5*.
