Coronation Street was back above the 8 million mark on Monday evening (August 12) as Tina went on a downward spiral, overnight figures show.
8.14m (37.6%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 202k (0.9%) on +1 as Tina had an emotional outburst at baby Jake's homecoming party, while the audience increased to 8.39m (37.0%) at 8.30pm and 203k (0.9%) on +1 as her actions led to danger for Rita.
EastEnders attracted 6.52m (29.3%) at 8pm on BBC One as Lauren was given hope of a reunion with Joey. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 415k (2.8%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale interested 6.43m (32.0%) at 7pm on ITV as Amy decided that she wanted to see Kyle, adding 201k (0.9%) on +1.
Hollyoaks claimed 993k (5.5%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as John Paul was shocked by Chloe's arrival, while E4's first look secured 569k (2.8%) at 7pm and 143k (0.6%) on +1.
On Channel 5, Holly Hoyland's arrival in Neighbours entertained 506k (6.7%) at 1.45pm and 858k (6.4%) at 5.30pm, while classic airings of Home and Away on 5* continued with 58k (0.3%) at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.37m (18.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
