Coronation Street topped Monday's soap ratings (May 13) as the surrogacy storyline took a new twist, overnight figures show.
8.37m (39.4%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 148k (0.6%) on +1 as Gary made a move on Tina, while the aftermath of his mistake had 8.46m (36.0%) at 8.30pm and 212k (0.9%) on +1.
EastEnders interested 7.02m (31.4%) at 8pm on BBC One as Alice manipulated Janine, while BBC Three's repeat screening secured 426k (2.9%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale appealed to 6.61m (33.8%) at 7pm on ITV as Kerry's negligence led to a fire at Andy's home, adding 101k (0.5%) on +1.
Hollyoaks was boosted by the Texas storyline as 1.06m (5.8%) saw Will revealed as the killer at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 103k (0.5%) on +1. E4's first look also performed well with 730k (3.7%) at 7pm and 191k (0.9%) on +1.
On Channel 5, Steph's Neighbours return was seen by 732k (10.8%) at 1.45pm and 991k (6.8%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 275k (4.0%) at 1.15pm, 757k (4.5%) at 6pm and 472k (2.6%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.45m (21.4%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
