Coronation Street was Wednesday evening's (May 8) most-watched soap with even more trouble for Stella, overnight figures show.
7.61m (36.6%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 280k (1.3%) on +1 as Owen was angered by Stella, jeopardising their deal over The Rovers.
Emmerdale interested 6.63m (34.6%) at 7pm on ITV as Cameron turned sinister with Gennie, adding 169k (0.8%) on +1.
Hollyoaks brought in 937k (5.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Dodger tried to win back Texas, while E4's dramatic first look secured 562k (2.9%) at 7pm and 134k (0.6%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours had 662k (9.6%) at 1.45pm and 928k (6.5%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away appealed to 248k (3.6%) at 1.15pm, 681k (4.1%) at 6pm and 451k (2.5%) with 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.46m (21.4%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
