Coronation Street topped Wednesday evening's (May 1) soap ratings as Karl and Leanne's feud intensified, overnight figures show.
7.84m (39.4%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 304k (1.4%) on +1 as Karl threatened Leanne following her recent interference.
Emmerdale appealed to 6.39m (35.8%) at 7pm on ITV with more fallout from Rishi's baby claim, adding 183k (0.9%) on +1.
Hollyoaks secured 839k (5.1%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with more stress for Diane and Tony, while E4's first look had 506k (2.8%) at 7pm and 150k (0.7%) on +1.
On Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 589k (9.8%) at 1.45pm and 949k (7.4%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 175k (3.0%) at 1.15pm, 614k (4.1%) at 6pm and 423k (2.6%) with 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.27m (21.4%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
