Coronation Street topped the 9 million mark on Monday evening (April 15) with the latest developments in the Anna and Faye storyline, overnight figures show.
8.83m (40.2%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 128k (0.5%) on +1 as Faye announced that she wanted to live with real dad Tim, while 9.06m (36.3%) watched at 8.30pm and 200k (0.8%) on +1 as Anna lost her temper with the rebellious schoolgirl.
EastEnders brought in 7.78m (33.1%) at 8pm on BBC One with the aftermath of Sharon and Jack's wedding drama, while BBC Three's repeat screening secured 399k (2.6%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale interested 6.98m (35.2%) at 7pm on ITV as Brenda's health took another turn for the worse, adding 101k (0.4%) on +1.
Hollyoaks managed 1.13m (6.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Jacqui's exit week began, while E4's first look had 577k (2.9%) at 7pm and 113k (0.5%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, the launch of Toadie and Sonya's big wedding week on Neighbours appealed to 777k (10.8%) at 1.45pm and 916k (6.2%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 267k (3.7%) at 1.15pm, 726k (4.2%) at 6pm and 501k (2.8%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.46m (20.6%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
