Coronation Street was Friday evening's (April 12) most-watched soap as Karl and Stella reunited, overnight figures show.
8.43m (38.9%) watched on ITV at 7.30pm and 204k (0.8%) on +1 as the pressure built on Karl at Sunita's funeral, while 8.62m (34.7%) tuned in at 8.30pm and 331k (1.4%) on +1 as Stella decided to take Karl back.
EastEnders attracted 7.32m (31.9%) at 8pm on BBC One as Jack told Sharon why he couldn't marry her, while BBC Three's repeat screening secured 553k (3.2%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale appealed to 6.55m (32.5%) at 7pm on ITV as Gennie and Nikhil's wedding day arrived, adding 157k (0.7%) on +1.
Hollyoaks interested 836k (4.4%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Jacqui hoped to secure Mercy's safe return, while E4's first look had 570k (2.8%) at 7pm and 135k (0.6%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours managed 651k (7.9%) at 1.45pm and 1.03m (6.5%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away grabbed 235k (2.8%) at 1.15pm, 755k (4.3%) at 6pm and 485k (2.6%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.58m (19.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
