EastEnders was Thursday evening's (March 28) most-watched soap despite dipping below the 7 million mark, overnight figures show.
6.9m (31.8%) tuned in to BBC One at 7.30pm to see Liam Butcher get arrested alongside Kane and the gang. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 514k (3.2%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale brought in 6.47m (31.5%) at 7pm on ITV as Robbie pushed Cameron too far, while 6.54m (29.8%) watched at 8pm and 197k (0.9%) on +1 as Cameron held Robbie captive.
Hollyoaks managed 865k (4.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Clare Devine arrived back in the village, while E4's first look had 581k (2.8%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours interested 644k (9.0%) at 1.45pm and 854k (5.5%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away had 585k (3.3%) at 6pm and 460k (2.5%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors mustered 1.22m (17.2%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
