EastEnders topped Thursday evening's (February 21) soap ratings on first-run showings despite its 15-minute clash with Emmerdale, overnight figures show.
The latest visit to Albert Square pulled in 6.16m (26.0%) at 7.30pm on BBC One with the aftermath of Kat's one-night stand with Michael. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 714k (4.6%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale's hour-long episode interested 6.11m (27.1%) from 6.45pm as Charity and Declan slept together, adding 226k (1.0%) on +1.
Waterloo Road attracted 3.69m (16.0%) at 8pm on BBC One as Kacey was finally honest about her gender identity issues.
Hollyoaks managed 910k (4.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Ste clashed with John Paul, while E4's first look appealed to 565k (2.5%) at 7pm and 101k (0.4%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours mustered 694k (8.3%) at 1.45pm and 942k (5.6%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away grabbed 793k (4.0%) at 6pm and 578k (2.7%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.79m (21.5%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
