Emmerdale was Thursday evening's (February 14) most-watched soap on first-run showings, but was dented by its schedule change.
An hour-long visit to the Dales brought in 6.07m (27.8%) on ITV at the slightly earlier time of 6.45pm as Alicia continued to plan David and Priya's wedding, adding 247k (1.1%) on +1.
EastEnders, which clashed with Emmerdale for 15 minutes, managed 6m (26.1%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as the police paid another visit to Bianca. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 633k (4.1%) at 10.30pm.
After EastEnders, Waterloo Road attracted 3.66m (16.6%) on BBC One at 8pm as Jade's baby arrived.
Hollyoaks entertained 1.02m (4.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with Mitzeee's penultimate episode, while E4's first look had 646k (3.0%) at 7pm and 111k (0.5%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 668k (9.0%) at 1.45pm and 975k (5.7%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 663k (3.4%) at 6pm and 402k (1.9%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.54m (20.7%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
