Coronation Street topped Wednesday evening's (February 13) soap ratings with the aftermath of Tyrone and Fiz's kidnap plot, overnight figures show.
The latest visit to Weatherfield was enjoyed by 8.43m (35.0%) at 7.30pm on ITV and 350k (1.5%) on +1 as Tyrone was quizzed at the police station and Fiz faced a backlash from some of the neighbours.
Emmerdale interested 7.13m (31.6%) at 7pm on ITV and 185k (0.8%) on +1 as Alicia found herself planning David and Priya's wedding.
Hollyoaks pulled in 1.13m (5.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Carl's dark plans continued, while E4's first look had 617k (2.7%) at 7pm and 104k (0.5%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours attracted 802k (9.3%) at 1.45pm and 928k (5.2%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away grabbed 725k (3.6%) at 6pm and 504k (2.3%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.82m (21.2%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
