Coronation Street was Wednesday evening's (November 21) most-watched soap as Fiz and Kirsty's feud took a sinister twist, overnight figures show.

The Weatherfield drama's hour-long episode, which saw Kirsty deliberately injure Fiz at Underworld, pulled in 8.48m (37.2%) from 7.30pm on ITV1 and 183k (0.7%) on +1.

Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 7.17m (34.3%) at 7pm as returnee Bernice managed to rub Laurel and Ashley up the wrong way.

Hollyoaks interested 1.04m (5.1%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 131k (0.6%) on +1 as Dodger met his long-lost father Patrick, while E4's first look had 598k (2.9%) at 7pm.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 724k (9.6%) at 1.45pm and 963k (5.8%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 737k (3.9%) at 6pm and 511k (2.5%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.74m (23.4%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
